Doing great! 11/29/2010

I sure hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, we sure did we had family in and all our nieces and nephews Bryson was in awe of the kids as they were with him. We were so very blessed to spend it with people we love, we were missing Tims side of the family but they know that we wish they were there.

Bryson had clinic today, the results came back NEGATIVE oh how very thankful we are to hear such great news. We also got him taken off another med so he is just down to 2 and then of course we got the PICC line taken out, cant wait to give him a good bath. Then we had to go to Cardiology for an echo, which means sedation and no food. He was tired by the time we got up there and was out with the sedation within 10 minutes. Then they informed us that we had a clinic visit with the heart doctor, so more waiting it was. Dr. Lam told us that he heart looked almost perfect, he was amazed to see it look so well, from 2 months ago. Such great news to hear, he will still stay on the heart medicine and then come back at 6 months time and see how much better its doing but overall it looks great.

We had a very long day but all the wonderful news that we were given makes up for it, we are so thankful and prayers really are something. THank you all for all the continued prayers and support, keep them coming!!

With love,
Steph Tim and Bry

Thankful! 11/23/2010

Bryson has hit 100+ post transplant, he had his bone marrow aspirate and biopsy, LP done yesterday now we just wait for the results and if they are good the line will come out next Wednesday. We are praying for the best results possible, so please pray with us as we wait.

Bryson has been changing so much, he is becoming a little man not so much baby but he will forever be my baby boy. He talks, says so many words speech will start next week, they said that he is actually doing pretty well considering all the set backs that he has had. He loves Toy Story 1, 2 and 3 oh and Cars cant get enough of either of them. His wallking has improved, still not fully on his own but cruises on everything and his transitions from sit to stand and turning is amazing to see just 2 short months ago he was scared. So hoping that not long before he takes off on his own and he soo deserves it. He is soo silly, he is a little sweetheart and then a total 2 year old all at once. I went back to work on Friday and it was hard to say the least but I have been busy so it helps. I will work 4 days a week for awhile and then pick back up when its time to. He has so far stayed home with dad while I have been at work and they both play and have fun, he enjoys his daddy time.

This Thanksgiving we are beyond thankful for all the help that we have recieved in order to be there for Bryson, it wouldn't have been possible and we love you all from the bottom of our hearts, one day we hope that we can help you all as much as you have all helped us. We are blessed to have Bryson doing as well as he is, to wake up every single morning and see the smile on your childs face gives us more hope than anything in the world. Thats all we want is for Bryson to suceed in this life and live it to the fullest become the best person that he can be, we just want what any other parent wants for their child!! God we thank you for being here through the times that we felt hope had left us, making us stronger and being by Brysons side every step of the way. In Gods name AMen

Thank you all for the prayers and continued support, keep them coming and may you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!!

With Love,
Steph, Tim and Bryson

YAY! 11/01/2010

Is happy to report that we are now down to 1 day a week for clinic and that the PICC line will be removed before Turkey Day. On his 100 day they will be doing another BM aspirate and LP, this has been planned since day one, after that we will get the line out. We are beyond happy to hear the great news and the docs are so glad to see how well he is doing. He is eating very well and as active as ever, definatley your average 2 year old we are, yes he can drive us crazy but like we tell everyone we are thankful that he is able to. He is stuck to my side like glue I cant use the bathroom without him throwing a fit and wanting in, if I want a nap by myself, nope that aint happening..LOL Not sure how this going back to work thing is gonna work and who its going to be harder on him or me, we shall see.

I want to thank my family for being there and allowing me and Tim to be able to be with Bryson through this process yes it has been hard to allow others to take care of what I am used to taking care of but I wouldn't have it any other way . Thank to my handful of friends who have been there for us it means so much to have people like you in our lives, I consider you all a part of my family now!! I love you all and will be forever grateful for all of it.

Please continue those prayers for Bryson as well as the others dealing with this disease and the effects that it causes, we are forver thankful for all the support and prayers thank you all!!

With love,
Stephanie, Tim and Bryson
